Vivid Seats sued in Pennsylvania for allegedly deceiving customers with hidden junk fees

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Several district attorneys across Pennsylvania are taking the ticket-selling platform Vivid Seats to court.

DAs in Bucks, Montgomery and five other counties accuse Vivid of deceiving customers.

Their lawsuit claims the site advertises low ticket prices, only to tack on hidden junk fees at check out that dramatically increase the final cost.

The DAs are suing to force Vivid Seats to adopt more transparent pricing practices and pay restitution to impacted customers.

Action News is awaiting a response from Vivid on the lawsuit.
