Boil water advisory lifted after main breaks in Upper Chichester Township

UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials say repairs to a damaged water main in Upper Chichester Township are now complete.

Water pressure should now be fully restored.

A water boil advisory that was in effect for Upper Chichester, Lower Chichester and Marcus Hook has been lifted.

The break, which occurred during a construction project, caused service disruptions and reduced water pressure in nearby homes.
