West Chester man accused of attempted homicide, rape, police say

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Chester County man is in custody after being accused of attempted homicide and rape.

Police responded to the 500 block of W. Biddle Street in West Chester around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday after receiving a report of an assault with injuries.

When officers arrived, they determined that 43-year-old Ariel Delgadillo had assaulted another person.

Delgadillo is facing attempted homicide, aggravated assault, rape and strangulation, among other charges.

A preliminary hearing in his case is pending.
