PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Community members in West Philly took to the streets to honor Dr. King's legacy today.
Their goal was to educate the youth about peace, nonviolence, and togetherness.
"We can go out and give back to the community and we can strive in the education of our children and what it really means to us. I pray that experience for today be a day full of fulfillment and joy and that our children get something out of it," said Lavern Allen of Redeemer Tabernacle Baptist Church.
