Video captures moment woman crashes car while singing Britney Spears' 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman is doing okay after a scary experience that she now laughs about. It is now a viral cautionary tale of what not to do when driving.

Kaitlynn McCutcheon was driving in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, while singing the classic Britney Spears tune 'Hit Me Baby One More Time,' when her car slid on some gravel and flipped on its side.

McCutcheon told Storyful she tried to straighten the car, but there was a hill and the car skidded off the road and flipped.

"If the hill wasn't there I probably would've saved it," McCutcheon said.

She said she was going the speed limit and wasn't on her phone at the time, other than recording herself.

"I was going the speed limit [and] was not on my phone," she told Storyful. "I just set my camera up to record myself singing, as I do often."

She walked away with a concussion and says she's learned her lesson about singing in the car.

"I had a bunch of bruises all over my legs, but I was okay in the end," she said. "I won't do it anymore, obviously."
