Woman dies after being stabbed inside West Oak Lane home

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say an arrest has been made after a deadly stabbing Saturday in West Oak Lane.

Officers responded to the 7200 block of Briar Road around 12 p.m.

They discovered a 62-year-old woman stabbed multiple times all over her body.

The victim was pronounced dead a few minutes later.

Police have not yet identified the suspect in custody.
