Woman hospitalized after being shot in city's Olney section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a shooting left a woman injured in the city's Olney section.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday along the 200 block of West Spencer Street.

Authorities say when they arrived to the scene they saw a yellow car speeding away from the area.

It was stopped near Jefferson Einstein Hospital, and a woman was inside with a gunshot wound to the right arm.

She is listed in stable condition.

Police found a shell casing and blood at the scene, but have no suspects.
