Man convicted in Allentown mass shooting that injured 6

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A jury found a man guilty in a mass shooting that injured six people near a festival in Allentown.

Yunior Peralta-Quintana faces a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison.

Police say he got into a gunfight with a second suspect, Miguel Angel Ovalles Ubri, on the 100 block of North 7th Street on August 25, 2024.

Quintana's sentencing is next month.

According to investigators, officers arrived to find the two suspects still shooting at each other. Two officers fired during the incident, but authorities said none of the wounded victims were shot by officers.

No officers were injured in the incident.
