Man killed after car crashes into tree on City Avenue

OVERBROOK -- A 29-year-old man was killed after crashing a rental car into a tree along City Avenue in Philadelphia's Overbrook section late Sunday night.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. along the 6400 block of City Avenue.
Police say the man was driving a rental car when he struck a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
