PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Action News has learned that the child sex assault re-trial against accused Philadelphia priest Andrew McCormick has ended in a hung jury.
The jury told the judge they couldn't reach a verdict. This is the second time a hung jury has been declared.
The district attorney's office has not made a decision regarding a re-trial.
His accuser, now 26, testified that McCormick sexually assaulted him in a rectory bedroom back in 1997.
McCormick however denies the allegations.
He has been suspended from the church since 2011 over complaints about his behavior around children.
