Suspect sought in Delaware purse snatching

NEWARK, Del. -- New Castle County Police is looking for the man who stole a purse from a parked car in Newark.

It happened outside a home on the unit block of Winterhaven Drive back on April 14th..

Detectives say the suspect spotted the bag, broke into the car and then took off.

The victim noticed unauthorized transactions on her bank account and called police.

Investigators retrieved surveillance video of the alleged suspect using one of the victim's credit cards at a local convenience store.

They believe he is driving a grey SUV.
