CHERRY HILL, N.J. -- A confessed hit man who was paid to help kill a New Jersey rabbi's wife in 1994 has been released from prison.
Paul Daniels was freed Wednesday after spending more than 14 years behind bars for the aggravated manslaughter of Carol Neulander in Cherry Hill.
Daniels and Len Jenoff testified that they killed Neulander on orders from her husband, Rabbi Fred Neulander. Jenoff testified that Neulander wanted his wife dead so he could carry on an affair.
Daniels' lawyer tells The Courier-Post of Cherry Hill (http://on.cpsj.com/1pt0SaH ) his client has paid his price and hopefully life will give him a break.
Jenoff was released from prison in January after serving more than 10 years of a maximum 23-year sentence. Neulander is serving a life sentence for murder.
