Counting down to Philly's Easter Promenade: Bob Brooks reports during Action News at noon on April 16.

Action News found people from all walks of life dressed to impress, including youngsters.

"I'm wearing a flower dress with lace at the bottom and a bow in the middle," Paige Jenkins told us.

"This is her first time down here," said another little girl's proud grandfather. "Very special."

Before the promenade stepped off, the Philadelphia Freedom Band was warming up the crowd with the bunny hop.

"We love it," said Karen Little, referring to this annual favorite. "This is wonderful. They need to do this in every neighborhood - every neighborhood."

Action News was at Easter morning services in Cinnaminson, N.J. and Ocean City, N.J.

Meantime, one of the oldest Easter sunrise services in South Jersey was held at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson Township Sunday morning.

The multi-faith service is now in its 85th year.

People brought their blankets and lawn chairs outside on this beautiful Easter morning to take part.

And down at the Jersey Shore, an Easter Sunrise Service was held at the Music Pier on the boardwalk of Ocean City.

The traditional, non-denominational service included music and prayer as the sun rose above the ocean.
