NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed along Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia this afternoon.
Police were called out to the intersection of Harbison Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard shortly before 3 p.m. Friday to a car that struck a male pedestrian attempting to cross the roadway.
Paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released the man's name.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
