Mysterious car found floating in Schuylkill River

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Police are looking into how an empty car ended up floating in the Schuylkill River.

The vehicle was pulled to shore along West River Drive on Sunday morning.

Investigators say it was empty, and there was no sign of an accident, nor any reports of a crash.

It's unclear how long the vehicle was there.
