New Castle County's finest receive promotions

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Several officers in New Castle, Delaware have reason to celebrate.

Seven officers with the New Castle County Police Department received promotions Wednesday.

Family members pinned badges on the officers' uniforms and each one received a special plaque.

The honorees reached the rank of major, captain, lieutenant and sergeant.
