Doctor sentenced up to 52 years for shooting partner

MIDDLETOWN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A Delaware County doctor convicted of trying to kill her domestic partner will spend up to the next 52 years in jail.

43-year-old Lauren Daly was sentenced to 22.5 to 52 years in state prison Tuesday.

Last month, a jury found Daly guilty of shooting and wounding 50-year-old Margaret Grover during a child custody exchange last year.

Grover has since recovered from the shooting.

Daly previously worked as an ER pediatrician at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
