Police: Man shot dead in Southwest Philadelphia early Saturday morning
Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Southwest Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is dead after a shooting early Saturday morning in Southwest Philadelphia.

Philadelphia police say they were called to the 6000 block of Regent Street just after 1 a.m. for a shooting.

Officials arrive on scene and find a 32-year-old man shot in the stomach.

Police rush the victim to the hospital where he would die a short time later.

No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
