Man injured in Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in Wilmington, Delaware.

Officers responded around 1 p.m. Wednesday to a residence located on the 1300 block of Chestnut Street.

There they located a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg area.

A preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred in the area of Reed and South Franklin Street.

No arrests have been made.

Police are investigating.
