LOPATCONG TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A sinkhole swallowed a plow truck on Tuesday morning Warren County, New Jersey.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Wordsworth Lane in Breakly Park section of the township.

The driver of the township-owned plow was inside the vehicle at the time, but was able to get out and run to a home on the street for help.

He was being treated for undisclosed injuries, but officials say he is doing well.

The sinkhole apparently was caused by a ruptured underground water pipe.

Officials say a gas line that also runs under the street didn't appear to be damaged.
