Brazilian Day in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia's growing Brazilian community is being recognized at City Hall.

Mayor Jim Kenney helped raise the Brazilian Flag to mark the country's independence day which is celebrated every September.

In the past 10 years the Brazilian population in Northeast Philadelphia has reached more than 15 thousand people.
