Local school receives federal money

ROXBOROUGH (WPVI) -- A federal grant is helping students at Roxborough High School prepare for careers in science and medicine.

The school received a five year grant Thursday from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Seventy students will benefit from the grant, which aims to increase diversity in the fields of health and science.
