Soldier surprises 3-year-old son at day care

MATAWAN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A North Jersey soldier returned home from Afghanistan and surprised her son at day care.

Army specialist Amanda Rodriguez wanted to surprise her 3-year-old-son Zayden.

The single mother showed up at his day care.

Rodriguez says she was nervous about his reaction at first.

But as soon as Zayden saw his mother, he ran straight into her arms.
