Police investigating South Philadelphia homicide

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a homicide in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened just before 3 p.m. in the 2200 block of Mifflin Street.

Police said an 18-year-old man was shot once in the back.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests have been made.

No weapons were recovered at the scene, police said.
