Without many upsets in Week 1, the Allstate Playoff Predictor doesn't see too much movement this week.
Clemson remains at the top ahead of its battle with Texas A&M on Saturday (3:30 p.m., ABC), while LSU is at No. 3 ahead of its top-10 matchup with Texas (7:30 p.m., ABC). Those two games are sure to shake up the playoff odds.
The SEC, meanwhile, continues to dominate, with three of the top four teams (No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 LSU, No. 4 Georgia). Alabama seems unlikely to be seriously challenged until October, while Georgia has a monster Week 4 showdown with Notre Dame looming. The Fighting Irish check in at No. 6 in the playoff predictor, with a 28% chance of making the top four.
And while Florida State, Tennessee and UCLA all say goodbye following disappointing Week 1 losses, Oregon remains the lone one-loss team to stay alive following its tough defeat at the hands of Auburn. The Tigers, meanwhile, are 10th, with a 9% chance of reaching the playoff.
As far as the Group of 5 is concerned, UCF and Boise State lead the way with a 1% chance each, following wins over Florida A&M and Florida State, respectively.
