Camden County animal clinic in need of new home

LINDENWOLD, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Camden County animal clinic that provides low-cost care to animals is in need of a new home.

The Spay Our Strays Clinic is currently operating out of the Lindenwold Senior Building and community center.

But Lindenwold council members recently told the organization it has to find a new and larger location to accommodate all the animals it cares for.

On Sunday, it hosted what it called a "mega clinic," to spay and neuter as many cats as possible, and to get the word out about its need to find a new building.

"We like to think of it as being community based," said the clinic's medical supervisor Barbara Giusti. "We reach out to senior citizens, people that are on limited income, people that do trap neuter and return, I mean it's definitely a service that we think is valuable to the community."

Spay Our Strays Clinic has been operating in Camden County for ten years, and provides low-cost care to hundreds of animals.
