Longtime Philadelphia Daily News sports columnist Stan Hochman dies

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Longtime Philadelphia Daily News sports columnist Stan Hochman has died from illness.

He was 86 years old.

Hochman started with the Daily News in 1959 covering the Phillies and remained with the paper as a columnist until his death.

He also worked at various Philadelphia TV and radio stations, including channel 6 in the 1960s.
