Police: Man critical after being struck by car while riding stolen moped

FELTONVILLE (WPVI) -- A man is critical after being struck by a car while allegedly riding a stolen moped in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. Thursday along the 1200 block of East Wyoming Avenue.

Police say the 22-year-old moped operator was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the striking car remained at the scene.

Police AID is investigating.
