Labor Day runners take on Philadelphia courses near Art Museum

Dozens of athletes kicked off their Labor Day holiday by running through the streets of Philadelphia during a race event that began and ended at the base of the Art Museum steps.

Chopper 6 was over the finish line of RunThrough's Labor Day race, where participants took part in a variety of distances.

The event featured 5K, 10K and 10-mile courses.

Runners traveled past some of Philadelphia's most iconic sites along the different race routes.

Supporters gathered at the finish line to cheer on participants, creating a festival-like atmosphere as athletes completed their races.
