There's more evidence Americans are breaking their soda and sugary drinks habit.

According to a new CDC survey, only 30 percent of adults say they have at least one drink a day containing sugar.

That's down from 50 percent in past studies.

Men still drink more sugary beverages than women, officials say, and young adults drink more than older ones.

Soft drink sales, both with and without sugar, have been on the down slide for several years, officials say.
