PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- With another snowstorm on the way, it may be hard to see the beauty of this winter.

However, filmmaker Cory J Popp was able to capture the magic and splendor of the season with his film 'Frozen Philadelphia.'

"Winter is a tough and sometimes painful time to film (No gloves! - makes it impossible to operate the camera), but it's also one of the most beautiful and uniquely alive times of year," the 24-year-old Temple University graduate wrote on his website - Coryjpopp.com.

Though the journalism major didn't start making films until he graduated, he took what he learned at Temple to produce his videos.

'Frozen Philadelphia' has garnered over 70,000 views on YouTube since February.

"Everyone's thinking about the snow, kids have off from school, employees if they are so lucky. It feels like we're all in it together and I love that feeling so much that you can expect to see me out there (gloveless) year after year," Popp wrote.

'Frozen Philadelphia' is a follow-up to his video 'A Very Philly Christmas' he created last year.
