National Dog Day

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- The Pennsylvania SPCA is celebrating National Dog Day with a special adoption event.

Action News was at the SPCA's Philadelphia headquarters in Hunting Park Friday afternoon, where people were able to adopt dogs for just one-dollar.

The event continues until 8:00 at the Fishtown and Danville centers as well.

The goal is to give forever homes to as many dogs as possible.
