CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A fund created for a homeless family whose toddler was found wandering in Love Park has reached its goal of $12,000.
A SEPTA officer found the two-year-old safe after he walked away without his parents' knowledge as they slept in a cardboard box this weekend.
Action News aired their story, which caught the attention of Brian Jenkins and his homeless organization, Chosen 300.
Since then, his fundraiser pulled in enough money to cover housing for them for one year, so they can be reunited with both of their young children.
