Firefighters extinguish tractor trailer fire on Route 1 in Bucks County

MIDDLETOWN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A tractor trailer fire on Route 1 in Bucks County is under investigation.

The fire broke out around 10:25 p.m. Wednesday off the ramp to Business Route 1 from I-95 in Middletown Township.

Fire crews were able to get tackle the blaze around 10:42 p.m.; the fire was extinguished around 10:45 p.m., officials said.

The driver of the truck has been located, but has yet to be identified.

There is currently no word on what the tanker was carrying.
