8 injured after van becomes wedged under tractor trailer in Horsham

HORSHAM, Pa. (WPVI) -- Eight people were injured when a van crashed into a broken down tractor-trailer in Horsham, Montgomery County.

They were trapped in the wreckage on Bethlehem Pike at Welsh Road around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Part of the van got wedged under the truck.

All the victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The wreck caused a detour around the busy intersection.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
