Multi-vehicle crash on I-95 South In Delaware

NEWPORT, Del. (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash slowed traffic on I-95 in Newport, Delaware.

It happened at 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes near Route 141 (Exit 5).

Police tell Action News a tractor trailer and three other vehicles collided.

One person was evaluated by medics at the scene but refused treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources responded to the scene due to a fuel spill from the tractor trailer.

Traffic delays were being reported on I-95 South and I-295 South in area as crews worked to clean up the spill and clear the wreckage.
