Pedestrian struck, killed on Roosevelt Boulevard in NE Phila.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A person was struck and killed on the Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia Thursday night.

It happened in the southbound lanes of the boulevard at Bustleton Avenue.

The driver of the striking vehicle did stop at the scene.

No word on the victim's identity at this time.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
