SUV slams into Jersey Shore home

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say an SUV slammed into a home after the driver lost control in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. Saturday when the SUV was traveling on School House Road near Bevis.

The SUV took a chunk out of the house before flipping over.

The driver managed to get out of the vehicle with minor injuries.

The people in the home are OK.

But, the impact of the crash caused substantial damage to the house, officials say.

Police are talking to the driver, and trying to figure out what caused the wreck.
