DOWNINGTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A crash involving at least two vehicles shut down the westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Downingtown.
It happened before 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed the front wheels of an SUV resting on the concrete median barrier dividing the east- and westbound lanes.
Another vehicle with heavy front-end damage was seen nearby.
There was no immediate word on the number or extent of any injuries or what led to the crash.
All westbound lanes were blocked at the scene for at least half an hour as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
Traffic began moving again after 7 a.m.
