Northern Liberties clothing store robbed at gunpoint

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- At least three suspects are being sought in connection with a robbery at a clothing store in the city's Northern Liberties section.

The robbery happened shortly before 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Tri-State's Finest clothing store, located along the 100 block of West Girard Avenue.

Philadelphia police say the suspects entered and one of the men held the store workers at gunpoint while the others helped themselves to an array of merchandise.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

The suspects were said to be wearing latex gloves and disarmed the stores surveillance video system before fleeing.
