John Wanamaker Athletic Award

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Two Philadelphia sports legends were honored in Center City.

Retired Temple University men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy received the John Wanamaker Athletic Award.

He was recognized by P.H.L. Sports at a luncheon at the Crystal Tea Room.

Mayor Jim Kenney was in attendance.

The late Phillies Chair David Montgomery posthumously received a lifetime achievement award.
