Police: Underage drinking party at school, 1 arrested

PENNS GROVE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A member of the Penns Grove Board of Education was arrested after a confrontation with police at an alleged underage drinking party at a school.

Walter Hudson was arrested after the incident at 8 p.m. Thursday at Penns Grove Middle School.

Police say when officers arrived they were confronted by Hudson and there was a confrontation.

While trying to place Hudson under arrest, police say, there was another scuffle leaving an office with a shoulder injury.

Hudson was eventually taken into custody and was being held on $10,000 bail.
