Police: 73-year-old counselor inappropriately touched teen client

UPPER GWYNEDD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A counselor from Upper Gwynedd Township is accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old female client.

73-year-old Bernard Rivas was arrested last week and charged with endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, and indecent assault.

Authorities say he advertises himself as a counselor for teens in crisis, and he meets with clients at his home office.

Police say the alleged victim was able to take photos of Rivas touching her on two occasions.

He is currently out on bail until his next hearing on March 30th.
