Lord & Taylor to sell its flagship Fifth Avenue store

MANHATTAN, New York (WPVI) -- Lord & Taylor has announced that it is selling its flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

The office space sharing company, We-Work, is buying the 100-year-old building.

It will be converted into the company's headquarters.

Less than a quarter of the space will continue to house Lord & Taylor's.

Store executives hope to attract millennials who work at We-Work to do some shopping as they go in and out of the building.
