Coast Guard assisting search for man in Delaware River

BORDENTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Burlington County authorities and the US Coast Guard are searching for a man who fell into the Delaware River in Bordentown, New Jersey.

Police say a man fell off a boat near the Bordentown Yacht Club around 5:40 a.m. Sunday.

Police and fire boats along with the Coast Guard are currently searching the river.

Fire Officials have two rescue boats; the Coast Guard has one.

There is no word at this time on what caused the man to fall into the river.
