WILMINGTON, Delaware (WPVI) -- Marc Palmer remembers what it was like to be homeless and receive services from St. Patrick's Center.
He worked hard, became a volunteer, and finally was able to get hired by the very nonprofit that helped turn his life around.
During that process, St. Patrick's Center helped Palmer connect with the right resources to get his social security card and ID.
Now, Palmer helps manage their food program, which provides groceries and a hot breakfast on Mondays through Fridays. The center also offers a clothes closet, showers, and other social services.
