RADNOR, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Finding adaptive equipment for individuals with disabilities can feel like an uphill battle.
But today, 8-year-old Sy'Heem Priester from North Philadelphia got the wheels he needed to reach the top.
The gift of a customized 'Freedom Concepts' adaptive bicycle came courtesy of a nonprofit called, 'Help Hope Live.'
For over 40 years, 'Help Hope Live' has removed financial barriers between families and much-needed medical equipment.
The surprise occurred at their 3rd Annual Hope Travels 5K event in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
