'Liv' the therapy dog is a good neighbor to Royersford residents

ROYERSFORD, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Liv the 11-year-old Lab can be spotted trotting around Royersford, making friends with firefighters, seniors, and children alike.

She was adopted in 2018 by her partner, Karilen Mays. They became new residents of Royersford in 2019.

With Liv by her side, Karilen was able to become part of the community.

Liv became certified through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and started visiting local seniors, veterans, businesses, and more.

The Royersford Fire Department became a favorite spot in particular.

Watch the video above to see what Liv means to the community.

Karilen and Liv are open to visitations within Royersford and the immediate surrounding areas. For more information, visit their Instagram page or website.
