PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Flavors from across the world are convening in one Philadelphia man's fridge as he pursues his second attempt at a World Cup-themed challenge.
Garrett Albert of Bella Vista is trying to collect one beer from each country participating in the FIFA World Cup.
Following an unsuccessful attempt in 2022, he got a head start a few weeks before the 2026 World Cup began.
So far, he has collected 34 beers from the likes of Japan, Croatia, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, and more.
Albert also volunteered with FIFA as a host city ambassador, welcoming and aiding tourists around Philadelphia.
He is now asking the city, and the world on social media, for help finding signature drinks from the following 14 countries, if applicable:
Morocco, Paraguay, Curaçao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Sweden, Tunisia, Egypt, Cape Verde, Senegal, Algeria, Jordan, DR Congo, and Panama.
Anyone interested in following along or helping Albert in his quest can follow him on Instagram @garrett_albert.
