Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- Taneisha Moody has been an engineer at Septa for 22 years and in that time she's had a lot of mentors, in particular the women conductors, train operators and engineers that helped her get to where she is now.
Now, in a senior position as a train operator/engineer aboard SEPTA's sprawling Wawa/Media Regional Rail line, she's responsible for some of the 1.8 million riders per year traveling to and from the city and its suburbs.
She hopes to pass that expertise, knowledge and friendliness to her customers and any future female train engineers.
